COUNTERS  HATE

April fools day has always been a day for college campus newspapers to spoof student body, and catch the public JEFFE OTTE unwary, all to say later, “April Fools”!  Over the years authors of the annual spoof have learned to tread lightly when it comes to discriminatory slurs.

Jeff Otte

Jeff Otte, who writes for the Advocate, the campus rag of the University of Colorado at Denver, smears his dirty thumb into the wounds of the sensitive culture of undocumented workers.  His skillful use of double entendre’s may let him get by with hateful words legally.  His skillful ignorance, on the other hand, wins him no fans with the Hispanic student body and those who despise hate speech where-ever they see it.

“Wait till you see the high taxes that OSAMACARE is going to get us and good luck paying them when you don't have a job that all the MEXICANS are taking see how much you “save” on “healthcare” then.”

So states Jeff Otte in his article titled “Enjoy obamacare if you like payin for illegal mexicans”.

Otte might better be known as “Otte-naught”, as in, this is one guy

you ought-naught have on your editorial staff.  His absolute lack of judgment will lose you readership,  assuming his writing qualifies as legal speech to begin with.  Yes, there is illegal speech, especially when it comes from a publication which is construed as being the voice of a state college.

Apparently, Mr... Naught was using ‘sarcasm’ while playing the role of an ignorant fool lamenting passage of the health care bill.  After carefully hammering Muslims, Jeff launches into a series of ugly and derogatory slurs against those who come here from a foreign land, namely Mexico.

I get the professed ignorant reference to ‘amnesty’ as an April fools joke.  Right wing opponents want to call proposed immigration reform “amnesty”.   The truth is, the proposed legislation marginally advances the interests of undocumented workers while strongly advancing border protection and enforcement measures.  That is hardly amnesty.

I get the amnesty joke, Otte puts the bamboo under the finger nail with his continual manipulation of words.

"Ternment wants you to think there not going to do it (amnesty) but they are you watch. You’ll be able to tell by the UNEMPLOYMENT LINES because tell be stretching AROUND THE BLOCK after the Mexicans take all our jobs.”

The word “Mexican” is used by a proud people from a spectacular and wealthy country south of the border.  It has also been used as a racial slur, usually when the words “dirty little” are placed before it.  Otte manipulates the word as he dances it’s meaning from “Mexican”  (national)  to the insinuated   “dirty little” variety.  One cannot say he is using the word as a racial slur because Otte also refers to undocumented workers in the sense of “Mexican Nationals”.  That is pretty clever or pretty ignorant.

Not happy

Otte was wise enough to avoid discriminatory language based upon race which has landed editorial staff of other college papers in hot water.  However, “Ott-naught” falls into the same trap many  other Americans fall into.  While one may complain about undocumented workers, who by chance, are fighting for their rights in Las Vegas, Nevada, this weekend, April 10th, 2010, one cannot discriminate based upon national origin.  The protected classes are race, creed, sex, age, in some cases sexual orientation, and always national origin.

Using derogatory slurs against someone because they are from Mexico is against the law when that speech comes from a governmental entity.  While you can report on the news a “Mexican National shot a police officer in Denver, Colorado”, you can’t say the “Dirty little Mexican got away”.  Can’t do it Vern.  Don’t go there.  The Advocate goes there by using the term “Mexican” as if it had the racial slur attached, but it is hard to tell.

We are now being told Otte was using sarcasm, not humor, to spoof red-neck fuckers (is ‘fuckers’ protected as free speech?) who are wholly misinformed about immigration issues and the plight of poor people in America.

The ones who come off as total idiots in the spoof are Otte and the editorial staff of the Advocate.  Before the biting sting of hateful words and a slap in the face wore off, Advocate editorial staff issued a statement defending their right to speak out based upon the Constitution they just violated.             This is a learning opportunity

“Our publication exercises the right to free speech…protected under court precedent for the freedom of the press, particularly regarding satire”

Satirical speech is protected under the Constitution, hateful speech is not.

     The editorial response continues:

“As we have exercised this right, we encourage other students to use it as well, as they will in this protest Monday”

Translation?  We if-up big time but we are not about to admit it.  Then the staff goes on the offensive, a tactic of a guilty mind.

“Students and other Advocate readers have posted intimidating and threatening comments in response to the story…threatening a news reporter—one who has consistently written columns and stories promoting the rights of the groups he is now said to have injured—does not promote safety or unity on this campus”

Threats, of course, are inappropriate.  However, I doubt there were tangible threats.  On the other hand, when you write the kind of trash Otte-Naught wrote, what do you expect?

Then the Editorial Staff says:

“The Advocate's staff view removing newspaper and threats to news writers as acts of censorship. Removing papers both deprives Advocate staff of their First Amendment freedoms and Auraria campus students of their right to read their campus newspaper. And threatening a news reporter—one who has consistently written columns and stories promoting the rights of the groups he is now said to have injured—does not promote safety or unity on this campus.”

I Just don’t get it.  These bone-heads need to censor themselves.  They don’t have a clue what is offensive and what is funny.  This comes at a time when the is negative press about undocumented workers and immigration reform.  RIFA Reform Immigration For America, is making huge headway for immigration reform.  This kind of garbage helps naught!  In fact, Colorado CIRC, Colorado Immigrants Rights Coalition is busy with it’s Welcome to Colorado program.  The plan is to counter this kind of rot-gut and help us identify with undocumented immigrants by thinking about our own roots and our gradfathers who came here as immigrants.

I go along with student demands to terminate the executive editor of the Advocate.  She refuses to remedy a mistake in the paper.  This kind of irresponsibility leads to student division, possible lawsuits and is against the schools mission to integrate the diverse student body.

Students march on campus to protest.  Certainly, some of these same students will be thinking about the hate speech from the UCD April Fools issue of the Advocate when they march in the Rally called the Manifestion massiva and hosted by RIFA In Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday, April 10th at 12:00!

Arizona Rancher Bob Krentz assassinated, Politico Kay Granger has an orgasm, reckless media jumps to conclusions, truth comes out

In the deep South in the old days, anytime a prominent person was murdered or a white woman raped the fingers pointed to the old scape-goat.  We blamed African Americans for a lot of things in those days.  A lynch mob was formed and a white guy got away with murder or rape.  Who knows if a legal citizen is getting away with murdering a wealthy Arizona rancher, Robert krentz.  Governors jan Brewer of Arizona and New Mexico Bob Richardson panic, and Texas Rep. Kay Granger has an orgasm.

The scape-goat scenario is the same in Arizona as it is in the deep South, although the actors have changed a bit.  Now it is an ‘illegal alien’ who did the dirty deed.

News reports all over the country are using a buzz word that means hate to describe the death.  “An illegal alien probably did it!”.

Some reporters use a bit more caution, “An illegal alien allegedly did it” and still others, namely conservative Fox News which would like to see immigration reform gutted, says an illegal alien did do it, or words to that effect.

Kimberly Dvorak from Red Country says “Arizona Rancher Murdered by Illegal Immigrant Who Flees To Mexico”  but she quickly backs off after using the hate word to grab headlines.  In the body of the article she adds the word “allegedly”.

Here is what the theory of the case is:

A

lone “Illegal Alien” walks 20 miles into Bob Krentz’s ranch along the U.S. Mexico border. Without provocation, he takes out his trusty six shooter and shoots the rancher. Then he puts on his Nike’s and races back to Mexico. Meanwhile, the border patrol with a dog team and surely with pursuit vehicles and helicopters no doubt, are hot on his heels. Surprise surprise, one guy on foot hoofs it 20 miles back to Mexico before the team can catch him. Give me a break!

An old saying in law is, “If it does not make sense he probably didn’t do it!'”

This scenario does not make sense for a variety of reasons:

1.  “Illegal aliens” meaning the guys who come here to do work, don’t carry guns.  Mexico’s Constitution does not provide for possession of fire arms.  Unless you have a ton of dough you better not be packing a pistol.  If you do have  a ton of dough why hike through some of the roughest terrain on the border?

2.  “Illegal Aliens” don’t usually come alone.  There is safety in numbers.  Most don’t know the least guarded routes, how to get around the drones, listening devices, motion detectors, fences and the lot, so they hire a “Coyote”.  Yet this killer was all by himself on a path taken by over 80,000 people last year.  That is 219 people a day using the same route.  This guy was alone?  There were no witnesses?

3.  Why would someone shoot Mr.... Krentz for no reason?  Does not make sense.

4.  There have been no reports of tracks into the ranch, just tracks out to Mexico.  How did this ‘illegal alien’ get to the ranch?   Most people use the bridge to go home.  Why risk his life going the wrong way?

My theory of the case:"

Bob Krentz was targeted for murder.  It might have been by a relative, it might have been by an angry client or business associate, or by Mexican drug gangs.  At any rate, I think he was chosen and assassinated.

What better alibi could one have than blame it on an ‘illegal alien’ and race across the border before anyone gets wise?

What the shooter did not count on was the national attention the killing would cause…or maybe he did.  Some people following immigration reform would do about anything to derail legislation which will soon be pending in front of Congress.

An illegal alien is not a drug smuggler!

Drug smugglers, U.S. citizen coyotes and undocumented workers all cross the border illegally.  We use one name for all of them.  Yet, frequently, the coyote and drug smugglers are citizens!  That gives 14,000,000 people a black eye.  We call that a smear campaign, demonizing and discrimination.  This time the discrimination is not race based.  It is based upon national origin.  Just as bad.  Not all Mexicans are bad people…you will find some pretty good guys if you check!

I don’t know who killed Robert Krentz.  Neither does Rep. Kay Granger, of Texas who is having an orgasm over the death and wants congressional hearings, or Arizona Governor Jan Brewer who is thinking about calling in the national guard to protect her border or New Mexico Governor Bob Richardson who did call in the national guard to protect his border.

“There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance—that principle is contempt prior to investigation."  Herbert Spencer.

Let’s let Kay finish having her orgasm or ask her to call 911, both of which will get more results than Congressional hearings.

Let’s ask the governors of New Mexico and Arizona to take a deep breath and then put on their thinking caps, something neither one of them has done in this incident.

Let’s ask everyone to start talking about rational immigration reform in which we strengthen our borders, naturalize those who are already here so we don’t break up families, so we can identify them, so they can get driver’s licenses with auto insurance, and so their children can have a crack at education and a chance to break the ugly bondage of poverty.

Let’s let law enforcement figure out who the creep is that pulled the trigger and let’s ask the lynch mob and the media to stand down.

Well, forget asking the media.  Fox News is going to try to convince you ‘illegal aliens’ are the same as ‘coyotes’ and ‘drug dealers’ and if you want to buy into that bull puckey then this article wasn’t meant for you, best go back to ‘unbiased reporting’ on the boob tube.

Fox news debates immigration reform

Immigration advocates want to know where Colorado Democratic senator Mark Udall is on all of this.  Denver immigration advocates have yet to get a face to face meeting with him despite asking and asking and asking…

Mark’s brother, Tom Udall, who is a senator from New Mexico, calls for a stronger border without mentioning immigration reform.

Maybe Mark has forgotten his Hispanic voting base.  If he has, they will help him remember when it comes time for elections.

Immigrants – Know your rights! Conoce tus derechos! RIFA

Conoce Tus Derechos!

This article is in Spanish first, then re-printed in English below it.

Why not print out the article and pass
it along to your friends in the
immigrant community?

  • Nunca llevas contigo documentos falsos
  • Nunca digas que estas un ciudano si no eres
  • Siempre pregunta por un abogado.

English Version

It is important for all people, especially immigrants, to know their rights.

The fourth amendment to the US Constitution allows each person to claim certain rights.  One of the rights, for example, is the right to remain silent.  A person in custody must disclose their identity, they do not have to give more information than that.  They do not have to make a statement they are or are not in the country legally, nor do they have to say how they came into the country.

The immigration law is complicated.  Any statement made can be used against that person in a court of law or an immigration proceeding.  As a result, it is best not to say anything.

One should take a general attitude of cooperation.  Tell the investigating officers you want to cooperate but you want to see an attorney first.

If the officers keep trying to get you to talk, keep repeating the phrase:

"I am happy to cooperate but I want to talk to
my attorney first."

One should be courteous in asking for their attorney.  However, one should not change his mind.  Ask to see an attorney and don't bend from your request.  Don't discuss the case even if they offer to let you go home if you will just talk.  That is the quickest way not to go home!

Sample rights card:

I am giving you this card because I do not wish to speak to you or have any further contact with you. I choose to exercise my right to remain silent and to refuse to answer your questions. If you arrest me, I will continue to exercise my right to remain silent and to refuse to answer your questions. I want to speak with a lawyer before answering your questions.

Cop Cuts Cars Sold Stolen Vehicles Gets Cut

Polk County Police Officer Charged with Running a Chop Shop
and Obstructing a Federal Investigation

Officer Allegedly Tipped Off Targets That an Individual was an Informant

Police Officer Mark Sparks
Mark-Sparks

Mark HOWELL SPARKS, 39, of Buchanan, Georgia, has been indicted by a federal grand jury and arraigned this afternoon on charges that he
operated and maintained a chop shop, possessed vehicles and vehicle parts with altered, obliterated and removed vehicle identification numbers (VINs), and obstructed a federal investigation.

The indictment comes after an investigation over a one year period by the Northwest Georgia Criminal Enterprise Task Force (NGCETF). The Task Force issued warrants for 11 people Tuesday and Wednesday that were involved in a stolen vehicle ring operating in Floyd and Polk counties.  Amongst the 11 were other law enforcement officers including Michael Robinson and Kenneth Gravett, both of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, according to Rome Newswire. com.

Marvin Cheatwood
Marvin-Cheatwood If the allegations are true, Sparks used his badge for his personal gain while the citizens suffered.  Allegedly, Markie liked selling it by the piece.  He would arrange for the purchase of stolen vehicles, then take ‘em apart and sell the parts for a lot more than one could get for the entire hole.  They call that a chop shop.

“Officer Mark Sparks was running a chop shop” according to allegations"

“This law enforcement officer is charged with taking profits in the underground trade of chopped auto parts. Worse, he further betrayed the trust placed in him, telling informants how to lie, tipping off targets of the investigation, and using his police knowledge to hide criminal activity.” said US Attorney Sally Quillian Yates.

The Feds allege The indictment officer Mark Sparks was running a chop shop along with two other dirty cops.  Further, they have him possessing vehicles or vehicle parts with altered, obliterated or removed VIN numbers.

And then, of course, they have the good officer on obstruction of justice, as good officer Mark Sparks tipped other crooks off in the area about police investigations.  Specifically, Sparks knew an under-cover informant was recording some of his chums.  He advised the mark to shut his mouth about certain persons in the biz, likely himself.

 Margie-Fields Margery Fields
As it turns out, a large portion of the Polk County Police Department may have been in on the crooked cop caper.  According to an article on the computer bulletin board Topix, an entire department is allegedly dirty:

1.Mark Sparks, for violation of oath of office, obstruction, theft by receiving (motor vehicle). Until his arrest on Tuesday, Oct. 6, Sparks was a police officer with the Polk County Police Department.

2.Marvin Cheatwood, for theft by receiving stolen property (motor vehicle).

 Bradley Miller
Bradley-Miller 3.Michael Robinson was charged by agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms with federal weapons violations. Robinson is a former deputy with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

4.Bradley Miller, for two counts of theft by receiving stolen property (motor vehicle) and altering a vehicle identification number.

5.John Summerville Sr., for two counts of sale and distribution of a schedule 2 drug, operating a chop shop, theft by receiving (motor vehicle) and forgery in the second degree.
6.Margie Fields, for altering a vehicle identification number and operating a chop shop.

Alan Camp
Alan-Camp1  7.Alan Camp, for altering a vehicle identification number and operating a chop shop.

8.Kenneth Gravett, for insurance fraud. Gravett is a former deputy with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

For over a year, the NGCETF, which is led by the FBI, has been investigating a criminal enterprise based in Polk County involved in the trafficking of stolen vehicles and altering vehicle identification numbers in order to resell stolen vehicles for large profits.
Richard Haney

All persons should be presumed innocent till proven guilty in a court of law…the above are nothing more than allegations.  But if true, they speak to the rotting to the core of the law- enforcement structure.

I suspect there may be a similar problem with a certain police force in a Denver suburb.  A local automobile dealership of used vehicles says they cannot account for 200 vehicles and got little cooperation from county detectives.  We shall see soon enough.

“At the end of the month you will be lucky if you are still a virgin” if you get convicted"

Hey Mark, if you get convicted of these charges you are going to have a rough time where they are going to send you.  If you know how to fight you might do all right with the first cat they send to bring you into line.  But then, the prison boys will send two.  If that does not work they will send five.  At the end of the month you will be lucky if you are still a virgin.  It will get worse from there.

Joey Hughes
Joey-HughesYou stand for the proposition that crooked cops pay a high price when they get caught, just as the people who trusted you paid a high price when their vehicles disappeared, some uninsured.  Insurance rates begin to rise.  Our faith in law enforcement is eroded ever so much.

The violator now will be violated.  Mark Sparks says he didn’t do any of this.  He entered his not guilty plea in front of Judge Walter E. Johnson.  He deserves the right to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.  Mistakes happen, let’s hope for Marky Sparks it is all a big mistake.  If he really is guilty let’s hope he survives his prison sentence.  Cons don’t like child molesters and crooked cops.

Richard Todd-Haney
Richard-Todd-Haney If these allegations are true Cop Mark Sparks has violated everything we hold to be good and true in law enforcement.  He deserves to be punished severely, for not only was he stealing our cars, he was violating the public trust we have in our police force.

It is guys like this that give every honest cop a black eye and make their job more difficult.
Atlanta FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge Kenneth Moore said, “This matter was aggressively pursued by the FBI and its law enforcement partners in spite of efforts to obstruct our investigation. It is paramount that law enforcement maintain the trust of the public in which it serves. These charges serve as a reminder that nobody is above the law.”

“If you know something about Mark Sparks or the chop shop he allegedly operated, come forward"

Assistant United States Attorney William L. McKinnon, Jr. is prosecuting the case.  If you know something about Mark Sparks or the chop shop he allegedly operated, come forward.  Do your civic duty.  There may be something in this for you, who knows.  The government may not be done with their investigation.  They

say:
“For further information please contact Sally Q. Yates, United States Attorney, or Charysse L. Alexander, Executive Assistant United States Attorney, through Patrick Crosby, Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Attorney's Office, at (404) 581-6016. The Internet address for the HomePage for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia is www.justice.gov/usao/gan.”

Some of the information in this article was obtained from Counter Intelligence Jobs, Net News

Let’s get the scum off the street including Atlanta policeman Mark Sparks and others who may have been running a chop shop, if the allegations are true.  These people prey on car dealers and private persons while violating the public trust we put in our law enforcement officers!

Arriba RIFA! Washington March a BIG HIT! C U In Las Vegas!

Big Hearts, Big Hopes, Dreaming the Act
Reform Immigration For America NOW!

Si se puede si se quiere

Over 200,000 people took time out of their day to journey to the nation’s capital to SAY YES to immigration reform.  Some say it was more like 500,000!

Millions more watched, wishing they could be there in body.  They were there in spirit…and in their hopes…and in their dreams…and in their patriotism…for the biggest day in civil rights history during the 21st century came…and went…on Sunday, March 21st, 2010.

Here to stay are the hopes a mother has for her children.  That they may find in America what she only dreamed of finding for herself.  In many cases that means food on the table every day; an honest and just system of government;  A roof over her head instead of a packing crate; An education; Opportunity;  A chance to make this a better country.  When immigration reform passes, and it will pass with your help, mom will have what all moms really dream of:  That her children have a better life then she did.

Here to stay is the hope we can keep our family units intact, rather than splintering them between the US and foreign lands.  Immigrants who have the support of strong families are more likely to contribute to society, pay taxes, and start businesses that create jobs.  Children who grow up with fathers and mothers are likely to be more adjusted and better equipped to contribute to the American society.

Here to stay is hope the years of oppressive thinking from a nation in fear from 911 has finally passed.  Everyone wants to improve national security, including those who will be staying here as naturalized citizens!  The question is how do were humanely control our borders and treat our neighbors as our brothers?  Rational immigration reform will mend a broken system, allow farmers and factories and labor intensive businesses to acquire the workers they need, and allow our border patrol to concentrate on the evil people who want to do harm to our country, rather than chase poor people through the desert.

Aqui Estamos y No Vamos!

We are on the dawn of a new day for America.  What was impossible yesterday is within our fingertips today.  We must continue with the battle, bring truth to the forefront.  The people of the United States of Amercia can make good decisions when they get the honest facts from the media.  Part of the problem has been a media which has failed to show the plight of immigrants struggling to be free, the oppression they suffer under unjust laws, the discrimination, based upon economic status and national origin.

Poor people from countries that don't speak English have not been able to make their case about the abuses they are suffering.

HELP US SPEAK OUT! The time for change is now!

How to set up a CCTV system FBI training film, effective cctv systems

FBI training film, how to set up an effective CCTV system

Catch the crooks who rip you off!

This FBI training video gives you secrets to cctv selection, placement and systems.  Unlike the Lower Merion School District spy cam case, the suggestions in the video are legal, subject of course, to limitation by local or state laws.

CCTV

  • Definition-why catch them on camera if you can't identify the perpetrator?
  • Make sure you have plenty of overlap
  • Be sure to maintain your system

If you are going to invest in cctv you might have a system that will work when you need it to.  This FBI training film gives great tips!

Sheriff arpaio answers RIFA immigration reform by sending 400 cops on round up

Phoenix Sheriff Joe Arpaio

anwers call for immigration reform

with

hateful crackdown on
undocumented workers.

Sheriff "Little Joe" Arpaio is at it again according the Eduardo Barraza, Barrizona Magazine Editor  I call the good sheriff  “little Joe” Arpaio because that is what a bully with a badge is. Little.

Sometimes we find good things come from bad things. It will be interesting to see. It is tragic Little Joe is on the rampage again. He is responding to the Reform Immigration For America (RIFA) march on Washington Sunday, March 21st, 2010. According to the Sheriff Arpaio press release his response to a call for immigration reform is to marshal 400 sheriff’s officers, state troopers, local police and militia fanatics from the private sector for a witch hunt for Mexican terrorists hiding near Phoenix, Arizona.

Well maybe they are not terrorist. First of all, A fair number are not Mexican Nationals. If this raid is like the last ones 28%, or 203 of the over 700 people arrested, will be legal citizens. Almost assuredly, the majority will be Hispanic. How do we know that?

"Asking help from the law in Maricopa County, Arizona, is asking for trouble"

Most will also be from the lower echelons of the work force. These legal US Citizens and legal resident aliens will be yanked off of the street, pulled away from their families, frantic for bond money and worried their employer will give them the boot for not showing up for work the next day.

About 500 of Arpaio's victims might be undocumented workers. These are the guys who take the tough jobs and hope their employers pay them. If they don't, there is not much the worker can do.  Asking help from the law in Maricopa County is asking for trouble. But then you don't have to be a undocumented worker to know that.  Those who don't have "papers" including rape, theft and assault victims, have a tough time calling the police.  So they suffer like all victims of terrorism.

Unfortunately, the one who is terrorizing poor people in Maricopa County is "Little Joe" Sheriff Arpaio. He is a US Citizen, by the way.

Why did these folks end up on the wrong side of the law? The Arpaio theory is to go to poor neighborhoods where a foreign language is predominantly spoken and look for problems. Do you have a broken windshield? You are getting stopped. Headlight out? You are getting stopped. Light bulb over your license plate out? You are getting stopped. Do you breathe and are you Hispanic traveling in a poor neighborhood? You are probably going to get stopped!

Not to worry if you are Hispanic and an American Citizen. Arpaio's officers will know the difference between you and an undocumented worker just by looking.  Sheriff "Little Joe" Arpaio has trained “all of my 900 deputies” in illegal immigration laws.  Well they make a few mistakes deciding who is legal and who is not.  Over 200 US Citizens were mistaken for illegal aliens and detained during past raids! No one gets it right all of the time! Come on!  It was only 200 citizens and lawful permanent residents stopped and detained who turned out to be here legally.

"'Little Joe' Arpaio has a bit of a problem with the truth"

Arpaio says he ordered all 900 of his deputies to be property trained to enforce illegal immigration laws. The Department of Homeland Security took away federal authority for a crack unit of 100 deputies trained by ICE to act in the place of Federal Immigration officials.

Little Joe Apraio has a bit of a problem with the Truth. Arpaio was using the special unit to bully the immigrant community which is why the US Government withdrew Arpaio’s authority. Today’s raids are just one example of a bully with a badge.

Arpaio sees it differently.  In his press release he brags about attacking focus on the growing problem of illegal alien drop houses, drug violators, and load vehicles used to haul illegal alien human cargo into Maricopa County.  Lost in the translation, in fact, lost in the National debate, is the reason for the crack down on mid-night border crossings, terroritst.  Sheriff "Little Joe" Arpaio does not mention catching one terrorist in all of his 37,000 undocumented worker arrests.

I said sometimes good things come from bad. How can something good come from a 78 year old fruit cake who orders 400 officers off of their normal crime beats to chase down poor Mexicans with broken windshields?

Victims of hate

Protestors pepper sprayed

"It worked in the Fatherland.  I don't think it will work in the Homeland"

The answer: If anyone had second thoughts about how important immigration reform is, Arpaio has reminded us. Immigration reform in the US is critical. Thanks "Little Joe".

Law enforcement in Maricopa County in Phoenix, Arizona is out of control thanks to “Little Joe”, Sheriff Arpaio. A knock on the door in the middle of the night, crying children, families splintered, desperate wives, the disappeared, the fear of law enforcement, all of this is the result of “900 deputies, all of whom are now in a position to enforce immigration laws” the Sheriff Arpaio way.

It worked in the father land Little Joe. I don’t think it will work in the homeland! Do You?
